I already failed at doing this every day, hahahaha. Oh well. Everyone will get over it :)
Let's see.. a quick recap of yesterday: I pretty much slept all day long, and then I had class. I'm becoming more comfortable with class now. As in, I'm starting to ask questions and talk about things. I've never been one of those people who likes to ask for help - which really sucks, hahaha.
Today, on the other hand, I had to work all morning. Actually, I was pretty much there all day. The good news is that I got to go get a cupcake at Gigi's afterward! I'm telling you, if you've never had Gigi's Cupcakes then there is definitely something wrong with you. They definitely hit the spot, especially if you're someone who loves icing like I do. Yum! All different flavors each day, too! Today I got two.. although, I probably won't eat one until tomorrow or so. I got the Little Miss Princess cupcake, which is really yummy - I've had it multiple times; then I also got the Pina Colada cupcake, which I've never tried before. I must say, the pina colada cupcake was REALLY good! It had little flakes of coconut inside the cake and as a garnish on top of the icing.
Meanwhile, I think I'm obsessed with Say Yes to the Dress! I'm always watching this show! Some of these people are crazy though. When I start looking for a wedding dress, I'm taking two people with me: my mom and my aunt. All of these brides bring in all of these people with such different opinions, or they bring in too many opinions. It's ridiculous.
Anyway, I'm out for the day.

Day 1: lasagna
I've decided to start trying to blog every single day. That way my life can pretty much get out there - and maybe, if anyone actually reads this some day, people will understand a little of what I have to go through while dealing with such ridiculous people wherever I am.
Today, I walked into work.. and was informed I was supposed to work 11-8, instead of 11-4. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet, right? I guess it wasn't too awful.. except I didn't really get off work until 8:45. And I was faced with the choice of eating Cheeburger food (yuck.) and not going to tan or going to tan then coming home to fix something to eat. So, I chose the second option. I made it to the tanning place literally right before they closed; then I come home, find out that there is absolutely no food because it's all been eaten while I was at work. I sat down for a little while, and I eventually decided to make the lasagna in the freezer that I was originally supposed to make. Please keep in mind: the lasagna takes TWO HOURS TO MAKE. I look at the oven and after seeing it FINALLY! has 25 minutes left, I open the door to take the lasagna out to take the cover off.. and I drop it. All over the kitchen floor.
REALLY??!? This is obviously why I admit that I can't cook. Who screws up a frozen lasagna that you just have to PUT IN THE OVEN!? Ah, yes. I cried. Believe me, I did. It was so sad. I'm not really sure why.. but I cried really hard. I'm not really sure what's wrong with me. Meh? Yeah, pretty much.
So, after a late-night trip to Walmart and a creepy guy asking me who I knew that was in the Marine Corps, I'm finally home cuddling with my dog on the couch watching Golden Girls. Go figure. Hahaha. What a day /night. 9 days until Jordan's home though<3

Definitions.
Friend (n): one attached to another by affection or esteem; a favored companion
Fake (n): one that is not what it purports to be; a worthless imitation passed off as genuine
Hmm. Why did I look up the definitions to these words? Because a person can't be both. You're either one or the other. People will always believe that there is someone who is trying to "take their best friend away from them" or "get in the way of their friendship." Somehow or another, I always seem to be the person that people think will get in the way. Things start out great then end up in a pile of crap. A group of friends can start out strong, but eventually they taper off.
Did you know that I've only literally talked to two people from day to day since middle school? Yep, it's true. Others have become threatened by my presence, or they claim to see me as the type of person who is too loud and overbearing. I'll admit that I am too loud and overbearing though; my personality is one that you'll either love or hate.. and I'm okay with that, honestly. It's in my family. It's how we are. My personality makes true friends hard to come by. Distance doesn't really help either. My two soul mates live in Arizona and North Carolina - and that doesn't really make things any easier.
On a lighter note, Golden Girls is probably my favorite show ever. Nope. Correction. It IS my favorite show ever. It seems to make all of my problems go away. Oh, and Miranda Lambert's new CD Revolution! is ABSOLUTELY amazing. I downloaded it a couple of days ago, and I haven't been able to stop listening to it since.

distance.
Ah, distance, we meet again. You love to take a hold of my heart and squeeze it. You seem to enjoy throwing curve balls at me like you're the star pitcher of the Red Sox. I'm getting tired of you; and I would like for you to give me a small break. It's almost been a month since I've seen my man, and it's been a while since I've even gotten a real Skype date. You just keep giving me obstacles to jump over, and I'm getting really annoyed with it. Normally, I don't complain about this kind of thing.. because I know that I don't HAVE to deal with it. I don't HAVE to have a man that's in the military. But I do. And I love him. And nothing will ever change that feeling.
Distance is not for the weak. Distance is not for the fearful. Distance is only for the bold, strong, and ready to take risks. Being a military wife doesn't allow for much room to complain, because well, who's going to understand what you're going through anyway? Eventually you learn to live with the separation. Nobody said it was going to be easy. So, if you're expecting easy and you've had everything handed to you in life, this is not for you. If you're willing to actually work to have the best relationship that you can possibly have, then distance must be your middle name.
These people who CHOOSE to be in long distance relationships, or even those who choose to get married to those who believe they are "the perfect love," and then they are so miserable are just crazy. Facebook is not the place to complain about your marital /relationship problems. Nor is Myspace. Nor is Twitter. Nor is the internet in general. The truth is: people that use Facebook, etc. just to complain and make their significant other look REALLY bad to all of his or her friends only do it because they want everyone to be on their side. If anyone says different or puts the reality into their situation, then the person gets super angry for no reason.. when surely they saw it coming, because they had it coming to them. People who get married or are in a relationship are supposed to attempt to work things out amongst themselves. The whole world should not be the ones to solve your problems for you. Counselors are there to help. Lawyers are there to help. You may have to pay, but it's a lot better than dealing with your problems on the internet just so you can make your significant other look bad.. then to turn around and be the "happiest couple in the world" again.
Like I said before, distance is not for the weak. I have been around a long distance relationship for a while, and I knew I was ready for it. My family is very strong. We're such a great support group for each other. And I knew that they would be there if I ever felt upset or sad or empty. They have definitely proven me right. I'm so lucky because I HAVE such a great support group. I moved away. Not only am I in a long distance relationship with my man, but I'm in one with my family. It's hard to attend a college six hours away from everyone you love.. and 12 hours from the man who holds your heart.
So the point of this, besides the fact that distance has gotten to me a little, is that people need to appreciate what they have. You chose to be in this. You chose to have a boyfriend. You chose to get married. You chose to live together. And you chose to live with who he /she is. If you aren't happy, GET OUT.

bobble

Meet the Water Bobble. It's a self-filtering water bottle. You fill it up with tap water, and it filters the water into pure, fresh water that tastes like a bottle of water. My roommate recently got one, and I must say.. it's pretty awesome. It comes in all types of colors - and the filters are removable so you can change them every two months or so. Jordan just ordered me a pink one :) and I can NOT wait to get it!
On a side note, freshman year of college is coming to an end.. which is really sad, but it's also bittersweet! I'm excited to go home, but I know I'm gonna remember why I left! Hahahaha. Three days until my best friend's birthday, and four days until I'm FINALLY reunited with the love of my life - my marine!
XOXOXO

New Ray Bans.
Someone needs to tell Jordan to buy these for me, seriously. I tried to talk him into it.. but he needs more convincing, hahaha. I'm in loooooooooooove with them! I don't even usually like Ray Bans. I think they look weird on some people's faces. Honestly, some people should read the Cosmo guide to what kind of sunglasses go with their face shape. Oh, I could also die for these:
Mm.
I don't know what it is about today. I was feeling fine, and then I got back to my room and all of my emotions started draining. I feel empty, like I'm missing something. And then Jordan finally got off work, after not being able to talk to him all day because he's been so busy, and he only wanted to talk for a couple of minutes because he's tired. I know that isn't a slam on me or anything, because he said he would call me as soon as he got back up for duty.. in like two hours or so. But, now I'm all teary-eyed and stuff. Over nothing. Hahahaha, fml. I hate being a girl. And PMSing. And having to deal with EMOTIONS. God. Damn. Shit. Arg. I miss Jordan. I miss his face. I miss being able to talk to him at set times every single day and night. Then, I also miss my familyyyyy. I'm ready to see them this weekend and just get HUGS. That's probably the thing I miss most about not living at home. Yet, I'm content with that. I wanna go to bed, but I hate going to bed when I'm upset because I have nightmares. Golden Girls is on for another few minutes.. so maybe then something funny will be on Nick @ Nite, then I can feel better and laugh and be happy again.
God, I hate PMDD.

Beach!
Ah, the beach. I headed over to Dauphin Island today! They say it's a 30 minute drive.. but I seriously don't think it took that long. Whatever though, haha. Part of the beach on the island allows dogs, and it made me miss my babygirl! I can't wait to see her next weekend :) I loooooooove my dog. Unfortunately, I got a terrible sunburn. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Good thing this crap only happens once a year.. then the rest of the year I just tan. Bahaha. My legs are in some serious pain though forreal. I'm seriously freezing though. My legs ALWAYS get like ten times as cold when they get sunburned. Ughhhh!! I guess I'll live? Hahahah.
Meanwhile, my nails look like they're fake. I love it! Random, I know. Oh, and I'm missing my man. I just realized it's been 62 days since I last saw him. Fml. Oh, the things we do for the boys we love in the military.

Title
Hmm.. I don't blog often.. but I'm starting to have so many different feelings, that maybe blogging will help get them all out? Hahaha, who knows. This military thing just cracks me up sometimes - you can get so excited over one thing, and nobody will ever understand why you're so excited over that ONE little bitty thing. But then again, you can never get too excited for it because things are always changing. Dates are always changing. Nothing will ever be set in stone. And that's really, really beyond hard for someone like me who absolutely despises change without any kind of notice before it.
Anyway, my title of my blog is a reflection on my and Jordan's relationship. It definitely seems far from perfect; but I don't think I could ever ask for more. Our relationship is so much stronger since he's joined the Marine Corps.. and it just keeps getting stronger. Therefore, Such a Perfect Love seems like it fits us - and it fits the place that my thoughts should go.
